There are multiple reasons why a payment may fail or not be processed. The most common reasons are:
- Payment Method is not registered with uTest: please check your payment method again and make sure it has been linked/verified with uTest
- The PayPal email within your profile is incorrect or mistyped: Ensure the email address used to register PayPal as your preferred payment method with uTest is correctly spelled.
- Your PayPal account has not been verified with PayPal: To get verified, sign into your account to add and confirm your bank account or, if you prefer, add and confirm your debit or credit card.
- You are using Payoneer as your payment method and have made under USD 2 within a pay period: Payoneer will only issue payments if you have accrued at least USD 2. You can switch to using a PayPal account if it is supported in your country, contact Tester Support.
- Note: Payoneer is not supported in all countries.
- Also, Payoneer is no longer supported for US testers. So, testers located in the United States are blocked from setting up Payoneer as a payment method. However, if a tester already had Payoneer configured before relocating to the US, their account may still reflect Payoneer as the payment method.
- If you are a US-based tester, please be aware that when viewing the Tester App > Payments tab, you will receive a warning if Payoneer is currently set as your payment method. You will be instructed to set up a new payment method.
